Who else feels as though the FIFA World Cup is in fact a European Championship plus a few others?

...after all, Europe is allocated thirteen of the thirty-two places at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. At the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, Europe was allocated fourteen of the thirty-two places (including Germany as hosts).

1. In terms of winning the tournament, you are right. There are however other teams apart from the European and South American 'giants' who will break through in years to come. If the world cup has proved anything, it is that football really is the 'world' game.

4. Yes and no. You can't leave out any African or South American teams. They're the teams that make the World Cup so dynamic.
5. Yea European teams have a high chance of winning only Brazil and Argentina are other teams that could win.but it would be amazing is Spain won the WC.

7. I think they should just make it the top 32 countries in the world get to the world cup....no one likes seeing teams from africa who some how manage to get to the world cup and see them get beat 4or 5-0 every match and see teams of a much higher quality form europe left out.....
