Where can I watch free online soccer film?

I am a varsity high school soccer player seeking to watch some match film of professional games. However, I get only two channels, neither of which ever shows soccer, and so I would like to know of some websites where I can watch game film for free. Preferably, the sites would not require registration and would offer a feature to search or sort film based on playing styles or formations, but I will take any suggestions. Specifically, I am a sweeper playing with a stopper and two halfbacks. My coach wants me and my stopper to play a zonal defense, but the halfbacks are supposed to man-mark the opponent's two forwards. I've never played in such a formation, and I want to find some film to get a grasp of this style of play. If you have other suggestions for success with this formation, I would greatly appreciate them, as I am feeling slightly confused about my role and positioning right now. Thanks!

  4. Are you playing in a diamond formation or a flat back four? .....................Stopper FB-------------------------------------FB ----------------Sweeper------------ or FB...........Stopper........Sweeper...........FB I've played in a 3 man system (3-5-2) as a sweeper with two man marking backs, but not so much with a stopper. I've also run a diamond formation where all of us had zone duties. In any even, having played as a sweeper for over 15 years, I can give you a couple of tips. Number one, you have to be extremely vocal back there. One of your biggest responsibilities will be calling out free players and making sure they get marked. You and the stopper essential will float since the two Fullbacks will be occupied with forwards. You'll want the stopper to pick up the first free man and hopefully be able to stay clean yourself (not forced to pick up a man). This way you can double team and pick up any trash that happens if somebody gets beat. Be sure to call out players that you want your midfielders to pick up as well. Communication is going to be your best friend here. Work with your goalie on back passes as well. This can be a great bailout option when you have a guy on your back and can't turn. Drop it off the him for the big clear. Be sure to play the ball back on angle so that his he misses it or there is a bad bounce, it won't go into the goal for an OG. http://www.ultimatesoccercoaching.com
