What are some good online multiplayer managerial/strategy/coaching games?

Not sure if anyone's familiar with this game, but I used to play www.monsterbowl.net . It was the BEST combination of text-based strategy and managerial decision-making, as well as a 2-dimensional game-viewer for the game itself (although you could not control the gameplay - rather you'd watch your team perform, based on many of the tactics, rosters, etc etc that you chose for them before the game started)... Well, apparently that game is done now, and I'm looking for other games that are similar in style. NO SOCCER (European "football") games...I HATE soccer! Sport game preffered, but I also like some war games... Here's the characteristics I'm looking for, although not all are neccessary: *Free to play (MUST) *Heavy based on strategy *Coaching aspect - player developement, skills, levelups, tactics, trades, facility upgrades, injuries, salaires, etc... *Ongoing stats for team members. *Not SOLELY text-based...must have a game-viewer or 2-d interface for part.
